A Bit About Me

I have been a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol for 19 years, and currently do volunteer ski patrol at Marmot Basin in Jasper, Alberta. In my free time you can find me downhill skiing, taking motorcycle trips, fishing and performing perpetual home renovations!

Current Role

Jim is responsible for the overall coordination and management of engineering projects, as well as the operational oversight of the Engineering Division.

Experience & Education

Jim has more than 36 years of civil engineering experience. His project involvement includes design and contract administration for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial site developments, as well as municipal infrastructure rehabilitation and improvements. He brings his decades of experience to bear on the quality assurance and quality control role, evaluating not only the soundness of applied technical solutions but value engineering and creative alternatives to address design challenges and improve project costs and approaches

Jim graduated from Northern Alberta’s Institute of Technology, holding an Honors Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology as well as a business management certificate. He is active in the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta, Association of Consulting Engineering Companies, Urban Development Institute and Consulting Engineers of Alberta.
