A Bit About Me

Civil Engineering is in my blood; my father and four older brothers are all in the same field. Outside of work you can typically find me in the stands cheering on my three kids at their sporting events (basketball, baseball, soccer, karate, boy scouts, the list goes on). Any remaining free time is spent woodworking, tackling home projects and cheering for University of Illinois football.

Current Role

Matt is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from preconstruction through project closeout.

Experience & Education

Matt has 21 years of experience in construction management on roadway, bridge and railroad projects in the greater Chicago area. His impressive work portfolio includes the complete rehabilitation of the City of Chicago’s historic bascule bridges, a major grade separation bridge project for Lake County involving the Canadian National Railroad, and the reconstruction of the Union Pacific North Line. Matt joined V3 Companies in 2003 as Project Engineer where he provided the resident engineering of all aspects of construction projects, from preconstruction through project closeout.

Today Matt manages all aspects of V3’s construction engineering division. His responsibilities include client management, new business and oversight of Phase III projects.

Matt graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors and Masters of Applied Science in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois.
