Update for Week of October 8, 2007

Randall Road --

PLEASE PROCEED THRU THE WORK ZONES WITH CAUTION.

Planned work for the week includes

Randall Road - Placing asphalt for the final surface, north and south of the concrete pavement. Installing the irrigation system for the landscaped medians between the UPRR and Oak St. Placing pavement markings for the proposed final traffic configuration (planned to begin upon completion of final sufacing). Planting sodding around planting beds in the landscaped medians. Placing asphalt for the bike path along the west side between Dean St. and the pedestrian/bike underpass. Placing top soil and planting seeding in the northwest corner at IL 64. Placing asphalt for driveways along the east side, between IL 64 and the UPRR.

IL Rte 64 - Placing asphalt for final surface, east and west of the concrete pavement. Planting sodding along the north side east and west of Randall Rd. Placing asphalt for driveways, east and west of Randall Rd.

Dean Street - Placing asphalt for final surface.

Randall Road traffic is now in full Stage III configuration with traffic split to the east and west sides of the road utilizing new pavement.

Traffic on IL 64 within the project limits is split to the north and south sides of the roads utilizing new pavement.

Dean Street is in the proposed final lane configuration.
