Giving Back
At V3 Companies, we appreciate the benefits we receive from giving back to society. We created the V3 Social Responsibility (VSR) program to provide our employees with a simple path to philanthropic volunteer opportunities by donating paid time off to contribute their talents to our communities.

Junior Achievement of Chicago: The world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy.
Centennial Volunteers: A volunteer network focused on restoration and management of the Forest Preserves of Cook County and the Chicago River system.
Engineers Without Borders: A humanitarian organization dedicated to providing engineering services to implement the infrastructure necessary to meet basic human needs around the world.
Habitat for Humanity: An ecumenical Christian housing organization that works in partnership with families and the community to build affordable housing at no profit for disadvantaged people.
The Conservation Foundation: A land and river protection and preservation organization that focuses its efforts primarily in DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties.
Indiana War Memorials Foundation: The Indiana War Memorials Foundation is proud to support the museum, monuments and memorials that form the Indiana War Memorial Plaza Historic District—a National Historic Landmark District that is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
Friends of the White River in Indianapolis: Advocates for a clean, healthy river ecosystem, representing those who use the river for recreational purposes, those who live near its banks, and all citizens interested in the preservation of the river as a natural resource.
Licking County River Round Up: A volunteer-driven, countywide annual clean up event in the Licking River Watershed in Licking County, Ohio.
Protecting Our Planet
A key component to V3 Companies’ effort to become more socially responsible is to develop ways to lessen our impact to our natural environment – both in the engineering work we do and the way in which we conduct our business. Concern for the environment and promoting a broader sustainability agenda are important to V3. Our firm follows and promotes good sustainability practices to reduce the environmental impacts of our activities, with the goal of reducing our carbon footprint on current and future generations.
Our Impact
It is our privilege to have a positive impact on elementary education students through our partnership with Junior Achievement; the 2,500 people in the impoverished Village of Armenta, Honduras through our partnership with Engineers Without Boarders; the families now residing in homes constructed through our efforts with Habitat for Humanity; and scores of individuals who use the natural amenities of the forest preserves, lakes and streams in northeast Illinois through our conservation and clean-up efforts with Centennial Volunteers and The Conservation Foundation.
