Ed is responsible for overseeing V3’s Canadian joint venture, as well as leading the firm’s information technology and marketing/communications groups.
Experience & Education
Ed’s career path has more twists to it than most. He started in publishing, becoming editor-in-chief of national publications covering residential homebuilding and land development. He jumped off that track to join a major builder/developer, serving in leadership roles in marketing and sales, product development, strategic planning, land acquisition and development, and eventually as Area President of its large south Chicago region.
A former client of V3, Ed joined the firm initially as its head of marketing and business development before he also was charged with overseeing its information technology department. When V3 launched its Canadian operation in July 2010, Ed was asked to guide the operation. He serves on the Board of Directors of both V3 Companies and V3 Companies of Canada.
With initial aspirations of working for Forbes or Fortune magazines, Ed graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English and concentration in Business Administration.
