Michael P. Famiglietti, P.E.

Vice President
Director of Construction & Ecological Restoration

A Bit About Me

Born in Boston, raised in Chicago, and having worked in California, Michigan and Illinois with projects that took me as far away as Trinidad, I find enjoyment and adventure in travel. My wife and I have two daughters and enjoy being active and engaged with them. I’m a football fan that loves cheering on the Chicago Bears and the Purdue Boilermakers!

Current Role

Mike leads our contracting operation, which consists of heavy construction and ecological restoration and focuses on delivering site infrastructure improvements, river restoration, wetland mitigation, native vegetation establishment and ecological restoration. He leads a team of union operators and laborers running over 40 pieces of earthwork equipment and professional ecologists and biologists delivering ecological projects.

Experience & Education

Mike has been active in the construction industry since 1990, with expertise in site development and infrastructure, as well as river restoration, wetland mitigation and ecological restoration projects. He began his career in San Diego, working for a national company and executing quality control on high-profile federal projects such as Camp Pendleton and Miramar military bases. He next moved to Michigan to run the firm’s Kalamazoo office.

Mike joined V3 in 1997 to develop the company’s construction and contracting capabilities, resulting in the establishment of a separate contracting subsidiary to focus on site infrastructure projects. As V3’s expertise grew, Mike led the effort to acquire heavy equipment and begin self-performing earthwork and ecological restoration projects.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois.
