Nick is responsible for overseeing the Planning Practice Area, which provides a full range of planning-related consulting services for public and private-sector clients.
Experience & Education
Nick has more than 26 years of experience in policy and regulatory planning controls, urban design, public engagement, sustainability initiatives, governance, community revitalization projects, land use planning, multi-modal transportation planning, project management and providing professional planning evidence. His career path has taken him around the world working in New Zealand, United Kingdom and across Canada.
In his public roles, he has been responsible for policy development and execution, project approvals and implementation strategies at a senior level. Nick has been instrumental in V3’s initial foray and continued expansion into providing planning services for clients in both municipal and private development applications.
Nick graduated from Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Resource in Environmental Planning. He also has postgraduate education in management, project management and system training. Nick is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, Alberta Profession Planning Institute, Atlantic Planners Institute and was a member of the Halifax Regional Municipality Design Review Committee.
