Ted is responsible for heading up V3’s expanded rail engineering practice which delivers a wide range of quality rail services both nationally and abroad.
Experience & Education
Ted has 49 years of experience in railroads, including economic viability studies, bridge inspection and bridge/track rehabilitation. His design experience includes route selection, environmental statement preparation, negotiation and execution of permits and agreements for construction and preparation of bid packages. His leadership history includes serving as project principal, chief engineer and project manager; his experience providing testimony as an expert witness is a testament to his technical capabilities.
Ted is active in railroad associations and has served in leadership roles with the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, the Maintenance of Way Club of Chicago and the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association, Inc.
HeĀ graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Wyoming.
