Avid Hotel in Hilliard

This new four-story hotel is located at the corner of Cemetery Road and Lyman Drive, a 1.5-acre site previously developed as a McDonald’s.

V3 provided civil engineering and survey services including initial site planning, zoning and planning commission approvals as well as detailed design for grading, stormwater, pavement and utilities.

During construction, our team provided construction layout services for the building and site improvements.

The project also included improvements to Lyman Drive as an existing access was removed and a new access was created for the hotel.

Determining the location of existing utilities on the site was a challenge as the McDonald’s building had been demolished and few records existed. New water service had to be brought to the site as well as new hydrants installed for fire coverage.
