The Berteau Subdivision development consists of 56 high-end, single-family homes on 11 acres previously occupied by the former Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Berteau Campus. V3 provided a high-quality site plan that maximized the development potential of the property. The demolition of the existing hospital and associated buildings was included in the project scope. One unique project challenge was performing extensive research and analysis to help the client to understand the nuanced earthwork components. V3 also assisted with environmental concerns and the remedies necessary to make the site compliant with residential standards. An internal horseshoe road also was designed and constructed, marking the first public permeable paver roadway constructed within the City of Elmhurst.
