Sunnyland Storm Sewer Improvements

The Sunnyland Subdivision in unincorporated Will County, Illinois was originally constructed with no drainage infrastructure and was subject to frequent flooding. V3 prepared a drainage analysis, assisted with a resident survey and performed final design and construction observation. Widespread flooding problems meant each street and section of the subdivision required remediation; the final design incorporated drainage improvements across the entire subdivision, requiring temporary easements from nearly 100 residents. V3 assisted Will County in maximizing the use of grant dollars by phasing the project over several years and by preparing base plans plus bid alternatives, which were selected for implementation when construction bids came in under budget.
