Executive Management Team

Gregory V. Wolterstorff, P.E.

Current Role

Greg is responsible for the managerial oversight of the Natural Resources Practice Area and direct supervision of complex water resources projects that range from ecological restoration of natural areas to urban drainage remediation to FEMA/US Army Corps of Engineers permitting.

Experience & Education

Greg has 24 years of experience in civil engineering with an emphasis in water resources, including habitat restoration design, bank stabilization, drainage assessment and remediation, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, water quality, green infrastructure and best management practices, erosion control and local, state and federal permitting.

He has performed expert witness services for many drainage concern and erosion control cases, including federal Section 404 Clean Water Act violation cases, and local drainage problem area assessment and hydrologic/hydraulic calculations.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Calvin College and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Arizona, Colorado and Michigan. Greg is active in speaking engagements and stormwater training for various associations including American Public Works Association, Association of Floodplain and Stormwater Mangers and Association of Park Districts.

Current Role

Tom provides leadership, management and support to V3’s practice area directors and is ultimately responsible for all project delivery to our clients.

Experience & Education

Tom has 33 years of management experience with large, complex transportation projects. He joined V3 in 2004 and has since expanded the firm’s involvement and reputation in the transportation industry, especially with public agencies including the Illinois Tollway and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).

Tom started his career with IDOT in 1986.The majority of his experience there was in the Bureau of Construction.  As Bureau Chief he was responsible for IDOT’s annual construction program for the 6 county Chicago region.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Illinois. Tom is also involved with the Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association and the American Council of Engineering Companies.

Louis J. Gallucci, P.E.

Current Role

As the President & CEO, Lou provides leadership for all aspects of the firm’s operations with an emphasis on strategic goals, growth and shareholder return on investment. He actively builds industry and market relationships while also fostering V3’s culture and maintaining the firm’s core values.

Experience & Education

Lou began his career as a bridge design engineer. He then spent 15 years in construction management on major highway, railroad, aviation and facilities projects in the greater Chicago area, followed by oversight of both design and construction services for all of V3’s public sector operations. Prior to being named as V3’s President & CEO, Lou was responsible for firmwide business development for several years. He is a recognized leader in the industry and serves on the Board of Directors for several professional associations.

He graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. Lou is active in the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois, the Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association, American Public Works Association and Engineers Without Borders. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois.

Patrick Kennedy, P.E.

Current Role

Pat is responsible for leading the strategic growth of V3 into new service areas and geographic markets, as well as leadership of business development across the firm.

Experience & Education

Pat began his career with V3 Companies in 1988 as an intern. Upon graduating from the University of Illinois he joined the firm full-time as a design engineer and worked his way through the ranks of project engineer, project manager, director of land development and president of V3 Illinois. He is currently the Chairperson of the board of Haiti Outreach, a not-for-profit organization committed to making Haiti a developed country through creating accessible clean sustainable water for all Haitians. Locally, he serves as the Chairperson of the Naperville Riverwalk Commission.

Pat graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and DePaul University Kellstadt School of Business in 2001 with a Masters of Business Administration. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Illinois and is active in International Council of Shopping Centers, NAIOP, and The Urban Land Institute.
