This project expands rail infrastructure to support high-capacity grain operations and improve shipping efficiency for unit trains exceeding 100 covered hopper cars. Our team provided rail planning and track design services, working closely with the railroad to align operational requirements, approvals, and service planning with the client’s business goals.

Unit Train Track Design
We designed rail infrastructure capable of accommodating full-length unit grain trains, supporting efficient receiving, loading, and shipping operations.

Railroad Operations Planning
We coordinated with the railroad to develop and secure approval of an operations plan that aligns train movements, site functionality, and operational performance.

Service & Rate Coordination
We worked with the railroad’s sales and marketing teams to address level-of-service expectations and train rate requirements, helping the client understand operational and cost considerations early in the process.
