Geneva High School Burgess Field Replacement
Geneva High School wanted to replace their existing grass athletic field with synthetic turf for a more sustainable option. The Geneva Community School District hired our team to redesign and replace Burgess Field, which includes both a football field and surrounding track. Our work included widening the running track to eight full lanes and coordinating with Field Turf’s local representative throughout the design and bidding process. New areas for the high jump and pole vault events were also added. Stormwater detention was provided by using a deeper than normal stone subbase layer under the field. Now, the Geneva Vikings have the ideal field to bring home victory.
