Kenton Air Modeling

Olympic Steel, Inc. is committed to responsible environmental management practices. When the company was required by the Ohio EPA to perform air dispersion modeling for the permitting of new paint booths at their facility, they partnered with our environmental experts to assess the air quality impacts of their planned expansion.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Air Dispersion Modeling
We performed comprehensive air dispersion modeling using AERSCREEN and AERMOD to determine the offsite concentrations of triethylamine and glycol ethers emitted from the proposed paint booths. These methods were compliant with the Ohio EPA standards.
Permitting
The Ohio EPA accepted the results of the air dispersion modeling and a construction permit was granted for the paint booths, allowing our client to move forward with their growth plans.
