Parker Civic Center

The Parker Arts, Culture & Events Center, a 50,000-square-foot civic center designed by Semple Brown, showcases a blend of thoughtful design and community collaboration. V3 was instrumental in the site design, ensuring the center adhered to ADA standards for accessibility, including routes, parking spaces, entrances, and a trail extension along Sulphur Gulch.
The project began with schematic design, where initial concepts were developed in close coordination with Semple Brown and key stakeholders from the Town of Parker. As the design progressed, these concepts were refined with detailed input from stakeholders, ensuring all needs were met.
V3’s role included preparing comprehensive civil construction drawings, detailing improvements such as parking lots, landscaping, and stormwater management systems. Given the center’s proximity to Sulphur Gulch, V3 also coordinated with FEMA to secure necessary map revision approvals.
The project moved forward with a rigorous bidding process, where V3 issued invitations for bids to qualified contractors. Throughout construction, V3 oversaw administration, conducting regular site inspections and coordinating with the contractor to ensure the project met all design and quality standards. This collaborative effort resulted in a civic center that not only serves its community but also stands as a model of accessible and thoughtful design.
