Pinnacle Peak Country Club Renovations

Pinnacle Peak Country Club, a private and long‑established club founded in 1976 in Northern Scottsdale, Arizona embarked on a comprehensive renovation to modernize its aging facilities and elevate the member experience beyond golf. The project expanded recreational offerings, improved circulation and arrival, upgraded key clubhouse components, and refined outdoor gathering spaces—all thoughtfully planned to complement the existing course and preserve the club’s character while positioning it for the next generation of membership. Our team guided this effort from visioning through planning and design, creating a cohesive renovation strategy that respects the club’s legacy while preparing it for future generations.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Amenity Expansion & Lifestyle Enhancements
New non‑golf amenities including pickleball courts, bocce courts, expanded fitness areas, and a dedicated sports facility were incorporated to broaden the club’s year‑round recreation options.
Clubhouse & Facility Improvements
Strategic building additions such as the yoga studio, sports facility, refreshed golf pro shop, and upgraded administrative spaces were crafted to enhance both the member experience and day‑to‑day operations. Circulation between practice areas and the course was improved through a re‑envisioned turnstand and golf training facility.
Golf Experience & Master Planning
Long‑range upgrades to the driving range and short‑game areas elevated training opportunities and supported increased usage. Cart staging, golf patron entry, and the turnstand interface were reorganized to create a seamless flow from arrival to play. Each improvement was thoughtfully integrated with the existing course to maintain its character, rhythm, and playability.
Site Circulation, Parking & Landscape Design
The parking lot and entry corridor were reconfigured to simplify traffic movement and enhance first impressions for members and guests. Hardscape and softscape elements were designed to unify the campus and celebrate its Sonoran Desert setting. A clear and efficient golf drop‑off and entry route was established to support ease of movement and intuitive wayfinding.
Cost Planning & Member Engagement
Preliminary cost models were developed to guide financial planning and support informed decision‑making throughout the design process. Collaboration with the Club Board, committees, and membership ensured alignment at every stage through interactive presentations and feedback sessions.
