V3 and Williams Creek Consulting Have Merged

January 6, 2018

V3 and Williams Creek Consulting announce that our two firms have merged. The move adds geographic reach, diversity of skills, and additional capacity to Woodridge, IL-based V3 and Indianapolis-based Williams Creek Consulting.

Founded in 1983, V3 provides consulting services in civil, ecological, environmental and transportation engineering as well as planning, survey and contracting disciplines. Founded in 2002, Williams Creek Consulting is an ecological engineering design firm specializing in the integration of Infrastructure + Science + Technology.

The merger gives V3 a stronger presence in sustainable development and infrastructure, adding to its diverse array of engineering, ecological, environmental, planning, transportation, surveying and contracting services. Williams Creek Consulting immediately adds a range of specialized expertise and additional resource capacity to support its recent growth. Both firms also expand their geographic reach, with Williams Creek Consulting’s offices in Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Columbus, OH, and St. Louis joining V3’s presence in Woodridge, Chicago, Edmonton, AB, Saskatoon, SK, and Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

A key to the merger was the companies identifying a shared culture and core values. “Williams Creek Consulting is an ideal fit with V3,” said Rob Petroelje, CEO of V3. “We share the same approach to how we treat our employees and our clients … one rooted in respect, support and service. This is an important milestone for our firm as we continue to grow throughout the Great Lakes Region.”

“The merger with V3 expands the mission our dedicated team has carried over the past 15 years,” said Neil Myers, a founding principal of Williams Creek Consulting. “We will now provide our clients with greater breadth of solutions without sacrificing the high-quality service we have always delivered. Additionally, our people will have increased career opportunities while continuing to enhance the communities where we work and live.”

V3 was recently ranked the 11th best firm to work for in the AEC industry by CE News and is ranked among the 500 largest A/E firms by Engineering News Record. Williams Creek Consulting was named as a 2017 Best Places to Work in Indiana and ranked on the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies in 2016 and 2017.
