Bridge Inspections & Bridge Management Program

To support Progress Rail Services in maintaining safe and reliable rail infrastructure, we developed and are currently implementing a Bridge Management Program (BMP) for two pile-supported bridges on the Sidney Lowe Railroad near Sidney, Nebraska. This program ensures proactive monitoring, prioritization of repairs, and long-term asset performance through structured inspections and maintenance planning.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Annual Bridge Inspections
We perform detailed annual inspections of each bridge, evaluating the condition of every structural member and assigning a grade to guide maintenance decisions.
Maintenance Program Development
We create and manage a tailored bridge maintenance program that outlines required repairs, urgency levels, progress tracking, and (when requested) estimated costs for each item.
Ongoing Program Implementation
We continue to oversee the BMP, delivering consistent reporting and actionable insights that help Progress Rail Services maintain infrastructure integrity and plan future investments effectively.
