Lloydminster Housing Strategy Lead

We are leading the development of the HAPPY Plan (Housing Action Plan for Partners & You) for the City of Lloydminster, a community-driven strategy focused on advancing practical housing solutions across the housing continuum. Through land analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and public engagement, the project identifies priority sites, partnership opportunities, and implementable actions to increase housing supply and support accessible, affordable, and supportive housing in the community.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
Housing Strategy Leadership
Our team leads the technical development and collaborative delivery of the HAPPY Plan, guiding the City from high‑level housing goals to realistic, actionable initiatives that can be advanced by municipal and community partners.
Multi‑Sector Collaboration
We design and facilitate a Housing Working Group made up of municipal staff, housing providers, service organizations, and community partners, building shared priorities, strengthening partnerships, and advancing feasible housing initiatives.
Community‑Driven Engagement
We deliver a comprehensive public engagement program that brings community voices into the planning process through pop‑up engagement at local events, targeted focus groups, and interactive innovation labs focused on solution building and partnership development.
Land & Locational Analysis
We conduct detailed land readiness and locational analysis using GIS‑supported multi‑criteria decision analysis to evaluate parcels based on servicing capacity, access to amenities and transit, regulatory alignment, land availability, and proximity to community services.
Actionable Implementation Framework
We integrate engagement outcomes, partnership input, and spatial analysis into a clear framework that positions the City and its partners to advance housing projects and pursue funding opportunities with confidence.
