Hope Drive Extension
The Village of Hebron needed secondary roadway access to a large residential development, as the previous access point experienced frequent flooding. This presented a challenge for our team: Due to the depth of the existing sewer, extending the public roadway and sidewalk would mean lengthening and lowering the waterline. We worked closely with the contractor to identify an alternative corridor for the storm sewer, eliminating the need to lower the waterline. This creative solution reduced project costs while also avoiding the nuisance of pavement repairs and a water shut down for the residents. In addition, our team designed the waterline extension to provide a loop for fire safety and improved pressure and flow to the residents, creating project satisfaction across the board.
