New year, new CEO! Pat Kennedy, P.E. has officially taken the reigns as V3’s President and Chief Executive Officer. As announced last August, our Board of Directors selected Pat as Lou Gallucci’s successor, naming him as our third-ever CEO. Pat’s comprehensive industry knowledge and unparalleled passion for V3 will continue our path as a third-generation employee-owned firm delivering impactful community transformations across North America.
Pat started his V3 career as an intern on a survey crew and upon receiving his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Illinois, he quickly began contributing to major real estate development projects throughout the Chicagoland area. Throughout the years he assumed a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer where he oversaw massive growth across new regions, service lines, and markets. He expertly combines complex problem solving with forward-thinking vision, finding new opportunities to help our clients and employees realize their goals.
Outside of work, Pat loves traveling with his wife Kristy, often visiting their four boys who live around the country and world. He is an avid Chicago sports fan and rarely misses a Fighting Illini basketball game. He also dedicates time to Haiti Outreach, a non-profit delivering sustainable community water solutions in Haiti, and to the Naperville Riverwalk Commission, having served as the chair of both groups.

He is eminently qualified and prepared for his next role as our CEO.Regardless of his role, Pat’s passion for our people has always shown through, making him a dynamic leader who also understands the ins-and-outs of our industry.
