V3 Companies continues to expand its environmental practice with the addition of Elaine Petkovsek, P.E., as Environmental Project Scientist / Site Assessor. Licensed to practice in Illinois and Ohio, Elaine has more than 36 years of environmental consulting experience working for both public and private clients. Her background includes expertise in a variety of environmental areas including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil and groundwater remediation design and implementation, and successful closure of projects to attain No Further Remediation (NFR) letters for a variety of brownfield and Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) sites. She has successfully worked and negotiated with municipal, state and federal agencies to approve work plans, set appropriate risk-based clean-up criteria, and attain closure on a variety of projects. Elaine has successfully provided program management for clients with large portfolios. She is skilled at project management tasks, including preparing accurate time and cost estimates, and tracking project progress for adherence to estimates.
