Derrick Martin has been promoted to Natural Resources Group Leader in V3’s Chicago region. In this role, Derrick will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of the Natural Resources group and leading the effort to achieve strategic growth objectives. He is an expert in FEMA flood remapping and floodplain/floodway permitting through local county and state regulatory agencies. He also has extensive on-the-ground streambank and shoreline restoration expertise to assist clients in managing these difficult projects which often require significant regulator and neighborhood communication.
Derrick has been with V3 for 24 years and has been an integral part of the Natural Resource group’s success. Over the years he has demonstrated a commitment to V3, a passion for the work, and effective leadership. Not to mention that he’s also a local hero at North Central College…just walk down the hall of photos in the athletic building and see what you can find!
