We’re halfway through 2025 and our calendars are jam-packed with fun thanks to our employee enrichment programs! Month after month, our team explores new ways to meet our personal and professional goals through a variety of engaging activities. Check out how we spent our days in the second quarter this year.
REVITALIZE
Throughout the year, our team earns incentive points for participating in health and wellness events. REVITALIZE keeps us moving and learning!
- Spring walking challenge: Our second walking challenge of the year was a partner event. Two-person teams were chosen at random and tasked with racking up 250,000 steps over 15 days.
- Bike to Work Week: During the last week of May, team members earned one incentive dollar for every mile pedaled.
- Human Bingo: This “get-to-know-you” virtual event helped us learn fun facts about our coworkers.
VSR
With temperatures rising our VSR (V3 Social Responsibility) activities kicked into high gear. This program helps us serve our environment and local communities through volunteerism and ongoing education.
- Earth Day celebration: In addition to a companywide presentation about our firm’s ecological and water engineering services, we challenged each other to take a one-month pledge towards adopting a more sustainable practice, such as avoiding single-use plastics or pausing online orders. Raffle prizes and native-seed packets helped spread additional love for planet Earth.
- VTO opportunities: Our full-time employees receive eight hours of volunteer time off annually. In Q2, we supported causes throughout North America:
- Chicago: DuPage River Sweep, Habitat for Humanity, Centennial Volunteers in Whistler Woods
- Edmonton: Canstruction
- Indianapolis: White River Cleanup
Fun Committee
We work hard, so our Fun Committee is constantly finding new ways to help us unwind and enjoy spending time together. Our regional offices had a blast with:
- Charlotte: Spring Fling Week, Activate team building
- Chicago: Bubblehouse Brewing Co. Bash
- Columbus: Pickle & Chill, pop-up snack bar, chili cookoff
- Edmonton: Chili cookoff
- Indianapolis: Go-karting and duckpin bowling, NBA 2025 Tournament
