Our Employee Enrichment Programs

Our people are at the heart of everything we do. At V3, our team has developed several employee enrichment programs that make working here a rewarding experience. Driven by our core values and the meaning behind our name, our enrichment programs are devoted to wellness, philanthropy, career development, and more!

Wellness

Our award-winning REVITALIZE program encourages team members to advance their health and wellness goals, offering trainings, activities, and challenges that address physical, mental, financial, and social health. With a full calendar of informative and interactive events, employees can participate in as many opportunities as they desire, earning them incentive points toward HSA funds.

Activities include:

  • Walking challenges
  • “Adventure Club” bingo cards with quarterly themes
  • Educational video trainings
  • Bike rides with our CEO Lou
  • And more!

REVITALIZE supports all employee health journeys, no matter where they begin. This program’s variety and breadth of topics help provide something for everyone, making us a repeat Illinois Healthiest Employer winner!

Social Responsibility

Not only does our team help build local communities, but we also give back, volunteering our time and talents to nonprofit partners. V3’s Social Responsibility (VSR) program provides every employee with eight hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO), encouraging our team to participate in local philanthropic work.

We regularly schedule VTO events with nonprofits such as:

  • Centennial Volunteers
  • Engineers Without Borders
  • DuPage Habitat for Humanity
  • Friends of the White River
  • Junior Achievement
  • The Parks Alliance of Indianapolis,
  • Veterans’ Bridge Home
  • Indianapolis War Memorial Foundation
  • Licking County Soil and Water Conservation
  • The Conservation Foundation

In addition to our external partnerships, we also implement internal practices to make our offices more sustainable. Between our multiple locations, we hold recycling events, offer bike-sharing opportunities, and seek out energy-reducing building fixtures whenever possible.

Career Development & Recognition

We have multiple career development programs that help our employees grow their skills, advance their goals, and receive acknowledgement for a job well done.

Career Charters

When it comes to employee performance, we like to look forward, not back. We eliminated performance reviews in favor of Career Charters: a tangible goal plan that allows team members to map out their ideal career path. By setting short- and long-term goals, employees and managers can collaborate and find opportunities for training and development, empowering our team to make manageable progress.

High5! & Workiversaries

Our High5! Program allows employees to recognize their peers’ work and talent. High5! recipients receive a monetary reward and have their achievement shared on our company intranet.

Career milestones are also celebrated through our Workiversary announcements that spotlight employee tenure. Acknowledging our team for their dedication and talent is just one of the many ways we show each other we care.

Emerging Leadership Program (ELP)

This training program focuses on developing the next generation of V3 leaders. Through hands-on learning opportunities and peer mentorship, ELP participants broaden their knowledge on V3 while deepening their specialized skills. Each ELP class develops a project they believe will improve our firm, helping to shape our future. 

Team Building & Inclusivity

Creating a welcoming, engaging company culture allows our employees to feel comfortable with and connected to each other. Our people come first, which is why we continually invest in providing an active, engaged environment.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)

Fostering a sense of belonging for all is of utmost importance. Our DEIB Committee focuses on making our offices equitable, comfortable places to work, where team members feel supported and valued. Throughout the year, our initiatives include sensitivity training, heritage celebrations, and diversity scholarships to support the next generation of engineers.

FUN

Each office plans a variety of social events both in and outside of work to help our teams kick back and enjoy each other’s company. From food trucks to family events, baseball games and birthday bagels, our FUN Committee is always adding something entertaining to our calendars!
