V3 Companies, Ltd. (V3) is promoting Amy Holmes to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from her prior position as Controller. Amy joined V3 in 2018 from Crowe LLP, where she served as lead of V3’s external audit team. Evidence of her positive impact on and leadership of the firm’s accounting team was quickly recognized by Amy being invited to join V3’s shareholder group after one year. In her new role, she will continue to lead the Accounting team and work closely with V3’s management team and its Board of Directors to continue to improve accounting processes and provide financial oversight and modeling to help V3 better evaluate and assess the impacts of its strategic decisions.
“Amy’s skill set fills a critical need for V3 at this time,” said V3 President/CEO Lou Gallucci. “As we continue to expand our geographic footprint throughout the Great Lakes region and extend our service offerings, we’re fortunate to have her provide us with the essential information and insight to guide our growth.”
Amy has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University and came to V3 with 17-plus years of experience. Amy is very active in numerous professional associations, including having served on the Board of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) from 2018 to 2020 and as a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois’ Finance Committee. These activities resulted in her building many relationships across the AEC industry, a network she uses to stay in the loop on industry trends and further develop best practices to support V3’s continued success.
